Fatal crash closes all lanes of S. Military Trail in suburban Delray Beach

SUBURBAN DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - A man has died after his car crossed South Military Trail, hit a wall and caught fire in suburban Delray Beach this morning, Palm Beach County Sheriff's spokesman Eric Davis reports.

The small red car was southbound in the 14,000 block of S. Military Trail about 10 a.m. when for unknown reasons the driver lost control, crossed the median and hit a wall in a parking lot and caught fire, Davis said.

Sheriff's deputies have closed northbound and southbound lanes of S. Military Trail, in the area is south of Lake Ida Road and north of West Atlantic Avenue.
