Authorities identify a Delray Beach man who drove his car into a canal Saturday evening at about 5:30 p.m.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says 49-year-old Michael Patton of Delray Beach was traveling southbound on Hagen Ranch Road when he ran his car into a canal after running a red light at Atlantic Avenue and smashing into a guardrail.
Patton remains at Delray Medical Center in critical condition.
