DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - A Tri-Rail train traveling southbound struck a car at Linton Boulevard just west of I-95. The train hit the rear of the car.
The crash occurred at 1:58 p.m., according to Delray Beach Fire Rescue.
There were no life threatening injuries and no one was transported, according to fire rescue.
Tri-Rail is sending buses to pick up passengers.
Tri-Rail continues to experience one-hour delays because of the accident and also because the trains have to go more slowly than normal because of the flood watch from south Palm Beach County to Pompano, according to Spokeswoman Bonnie Arnold.
