DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - Santalicio Martinez, an 81-year-old Delray Beach resident, has been collecting clocks for 15 years.
His home, which he shares with his wife and son, is covered with the clocks.
"It makes me happy," he said, while proudly pointing out his first clock, a metallic-rimmed large one with a dangling ship.
"The best part, (I) just feel happy I have something in my life," he said. "You feel you do something in your life, (an) important thing," Martinez said.
He said that it will take him a week to set the larger clocks to the correct hour for Daylight Saving Time.
He doesn't, however, reset all of the clocks, just enough of them to where he always can tell what time it is by looking somewhere, on some wall.
