A 55-year-old West Palm Beach man confessed to robbing a TD Bank in Boynton Beach last week after he was arrested Saturday in Palm Bay for allegedly robbing a TD Bank there, Palm Beach County sheriff’s officials said today.

John Henry Raftopoulos, who lives on Victoria Drive, is being held at the Brevard County Jail in connection with both robberies.

Based on photos from the Palm Bay heist, the suspect was wearing the same kind of attire as the man who robbed the bank on Military Trail in Boynton Beach on Tuesday.

Both times, the robber was wearing a dark suit jacket, a white shirt, a tie and a baseball cap. He fled on foot.

Officials did not say how much money he got in the robberies.
