NB I-95 lanes reopen in Boynton Beach after accident

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - UPDATE:

All northbound  lanes of Interstate 95 reopen in Boynton Beach after accident, authorities say.

EARLIER STORY:

Three northbound lanes of traffic on Interstate 95 in Boynton Beach are blocked after two accidents, according to Boynton Beach Fire Rescue.

Michael Landress, spokesman for Boynton Beach Fire Rescue said crews were cleaning up after a minor accident  when a car drove by and struck the fire engine.

The first accident happened between Gateway and Boynton Beach Boulevard, around 8:30 p.m., followed by the second accident shortly after 9 p.m., said Landress .

The fire engine sustained some damage.

No one was injured in either accident.
