Authorities say a 67-year-old Boynton Beach man died last night when he walked into oncoming traffic.
The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. in the 400 block of West Boynton Beach Blvd., according to Stephanie Slater, Boynton Beach Police spokeswoman.
Investigators found that Surpis Enard tried to cross the street, stepping in front of an Acura traveling west.
Emergency crews took Enard to Delray Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:30 p.m. The driver of the Acura, Mario Bryant, 42, was not injured in the crash.
Investigators said speed was not a factor in this crash.
