A Delray Beach man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly robbing two roommates outside their Boynton Beach apartment and then trying to take off in one of their cars.

The two victims were typing on their laptop computers in the parking lot of Casablanca Apartments in the 800 block of W. Boynton Beach Blvd. when three robbers pulled up in a green sedan, according to a police report.

Fencoeur Mascary, 22, and two other men are accused of punching one of the victims, pushing the other and stealing their computers, the report said.

One of the robbers grabbed one of the victim's car keys and tried to drive away in his car, but the victim snatched the keys back. The three men fled.

When police arrived, they tracked the green sedan to its owner, Mascary, who victims identified as one of the robbers.

Mascary was booked at the Palm Beach County jail and faces charges of robbery, battery, grand theft and attempted carjacking, according to police.
