A raccoon infected with rabies has been found in Boynton Beach.
A resident spotted the raccoon acting sick Sunday and called Animal Care and Control. It tested positive for the disease.
The animal was found near Churchill Drive and Chapel Hill Boulevard.
Police and Animal Care and Control officers are warning pet owners to make sure their pets are vaccinated.
