BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a Golden Corral restaurant in Boynton Beach of $3,000 cash last night.
The restaurant owner and manager told police the man came into the restaurant at 389 Winchester Park Blvd. shortly after 9 p.m. armed with a sem-automatic handgun, took $3,000 and then ran from the scene, according to the overnight log from the Boynton Beach police.
The suspect is described in that log entry as a black man, about 5’6” to 5’7” tall, with a thin build and wearing a blue ball cap with white lettering, a red shirt and olive drab colored cargo shorts, black sneakers. He was also wearing sunglasses. The suspect was last seen running south through the parking lot.
A police search was unable to track him.
