Police search for Shih Tzu that disappeared in Boynton home burglary

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - A burglar who broke into a Boynton Beach home Monday morning made off with a laptop, a plasma television and possibly a Shih Tzu named Precious, authorities said.

Police are searching for the 7-year-old dog, who may have been stolen or have run outside during the heist, according to Boynton Beach police.

The pet's owner told police someone smashed a window and jumped inside her house on Northeast Third Court between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Precious was at home at the time.
