Karl Gross, man wanted for drug trafficking, shot in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- Boynton Beach police are investigating a Thursday night shooting that sent one man wanted for drug trafficking to the hospital.

Just before 11 p.m., Police arrived in the 300 block of Ocean Parkway, where they found Karl Gross, 30, of Boynton Beach, sitting outside a house with one gunshot wound, police said.

Gross had an outstanding warrant for drug trafficking, authorities said, so officers took him into custody at Delray Medical Center, where his is expected to recover.

But when he is released from the hospital, police said, Gross will be booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.

According to police, Gross would not cooperate with detectives and signed a refusal to prosecute.
