SUBURBAN BOYTON BEACH, Fla. - A suburban Boynton Beach man was arrested on Sunday after he was accused of forcing his way into his former girlfriend's house in March to confront her about her being with another man.

Euzequiel Cedillo, 22, is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail without bond. He is facing charges of robbery, burglary with assault and false imprisonment.

Cedillo was arrested almost a month after his alleged crime took place on March 28 in Lake Worth. His ex-girlfriend called the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office that day to report that Cedillo had pushed through her door at 12:30 p.m., and forced his way inside to confront her about her being with another man.

She said Cedillo demanded she turn over her cell phone and identification. When he realized that her phone was in her back pocket, he allegedly grabbed and smashed it, according to the arrest report.

The ex-girlfriend said that when she tried to run away with her 2-year-old and infant sons, Cedillo told her, "you're not going no where' and yanked her back. She was able to ultimately lock herself in a bathroom where she continually told Cedillo to leave as she overheard him continuing to smash her phone.

In the arrest report, the deputy said a no-contact order had been issued against Cedillo with regard to the ex-girlfriend.

The report does not elaborate on how Cedillo was arrested, but jail records show he was taken into custody by Palm Springs Police.
