BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Tense moments for a driver in Boynton Beach Tuesday evening after his vehicle veered into a canal.
That man managed to escape from his truck after it ended up in a canal.
Police say the man lost control of his pickup, swerved off the road and ended up in the water at Jog Road and Gateway Boulevard.
Officials say the man was not seriously injured. He was taken to Bethesda Hospital, but only for an evaluation.
