BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - A 78-year-old Boynton Beach woman driving a minivan struck and killed another elderly woman who was walking on the sidewalk near a CVS store at 133 N. Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach.

Mary Elizabeth Bonnel was killed after she was struck and pinned beneath a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Marion Zeiler, also of Boynton Beach, police said.

No one in the store was injured.

Traffic homicide investigators determined that Zeiler lost control of her vehicle while attempting to exit the parking lot. She was taken to an area hospital with neck and back pain.

No criminal charges are expected in this case, investigators said.
