DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - There was an officer-involved shooting in the 600 block of SE 2nd Avenue in Delray Beach Monday morning.

Police were serving a warrant at the time of the shooting at a house they called a "known drug den."

When officers arrived they say they found a man in the kitchen cooking crack cocaine and pre-packaged drugs ready for sale were also discovered. He was taken into custody.

A second man was in a bed and rolled over. Police say they told the man to get up.

They say he looked like he was armed and that's when an officer fired one shot.

The bullet struck his right shoulder. He was taken to Delray Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

The officer who fired his weapon is a 20 year veteran. Neither he nor the suspects have been identified.

Investigators say they found weapons inside the home as well as a good amount of cash.

Police say they were concerned because the house is in a residential area near a ball field and children's park.
