Michael Mulcahy, Alex Lindsey: Boynton Beach Police officers terminated

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - The Boynton Beach Police Department terminated two police officers Thursday.
Michael Mulcahy and Alex Lindsey are no longer employed with the department.
The 29-year-old Mulcahy was hired by the force in 2006.
He's currently facing criminal charges for official misconduct and giving a false official statement.
28-year-old Alex Lindsey, hired in 2008, also faces criminal charges for official misconduct and perjury.
Boynton Beach police are not commenting on the terminations due to pending criminal trials.
The internal affairs investigation are expected to be released next week.
