Marlene Ross, Boynton Beach City Commissiner in nude photo flap, resigns

A Boynton Beach City Commissioner involved in a nude photo flap handed in her resignation Thursday.

The Sun Sentinel reports that Marlene Ross sent a letter to the city clerk's office in which she said that  she and her "beau" are expecting "a blessing in the New Year." 

She said her resignation is effective immediately.

Earlier this year Ross had asked the Palm Beach County State Attorney to investigate whether a political enemy was using a nude picture of her as blackmail for a political favor.

The Palm Beach Post reports Ross made no mention of the incident in her letter.
