BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - He may very well be this year's "Biggest Loser"!
Fans of the popular NBC weight-loss show know him as "Joe".
Joe Ostaszewski, from Boynton Beach, is one of two contestants vying for a spot in Monday night's finale. That contestant will join two others already chosen in a bid to win a quarter of a million dollars!
We got curious after Boynton Beach Police "tweeted out" a last minute plea for votes for Joe, before voting ended.
It turns out Joe's dad is a 20-year veteran of the Boynton Beach Police Department, and Joe himself worked in law enforcement here in the 1990s.
Joe is a graduate of Santaluces Community High School and Florida State University.
