A 56-year-old Boynton Beach man is $500,000 richer today after claiming his prize in the Florida Lottery’s Gold Rush Tripler Scratch-Off Game.

Gregory Bowser claimed his prize at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee, state officials said today. He bought his winning ticket at the Ocean Food Store at 101 N. Federal Highway in Boynton Beach.

The Gold Rush Tripler game, which costs $20 to play, is the latest installment of the Florida Lottery’s Gold Rush Scratch-Off games. The Lottery said it carries better odds of bettors winning $30 to $500 than previous Gold Rush games. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.95, the Florida Lottery said.
