Five people injured in Florida’s Turnpike accident in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Five people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon on Florida’s Turnpike north of Boynton Beach Boulevard.

The 5:33 p.m. rollover accident happened 2 miles north of the Boynton Beach Boulevard exit, said Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

He said arriving crews found one of the two vehicles on its side.

All five people were taken to Bethesda Hospital West. There is no word on the extent of the injuries sustained by the five people injured.
