SUBURBAN BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- A car landed into a suburban Boynton Beach pond Friday morning and its driver required rescue.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue units were at the scene at 9858 S. Military Trail around 7:15 a.m.

First arriving crews discovered the vehicle, which had driven into a catchment pond with the driver still inside, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue spokesperson said Albert Borroto.

Borroto said crews placed a level 1 diver in the water to assist in removing the driver.

The person was uninjured.
