Drive-by shooting in Boynton Beach prompts police investigation

One male was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center Saturday evening, after suffering from gunshot wounds, said Teri Barbera, spokeswoman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - A drive-by shooting in Boynton Beach leaves police searching for clues.

Boynton Beach Police Department spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said a man was stopped at a red light on Gateway Boulevard and Seacrest Boulevard when a dark blue Nissan Altima pulled up and the people inside starting firing shots.

The car then took off and headed northbound on Gateway and I-95.

No one was injured.

Police are still investigating.
