BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - A 22-year-old man was killed Thursday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck the rear of a pickup truck in the 300 block of Northwest 10th Avenue in Boynton Beach, according to Boynton Beach Police.
According to police, both vehicles were traveling east on Northwest 10th Avenue around 4:10 p.m. when the driver of a Dodge pickup truck began to slow down to make a left turn onto Northwest 3rd Street.
The driver of the motorcycle, Dominique Jackie Fann, was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the rear of the truck.
He was transported to Delray Medical Center's trauma unit where he was pronounced dead.
The other driver was not injured in the accident.
Police are asking that anyone who witnessed the crash call Traffic Homicide Investigator Charles Turco at 561-742-6111.
