Compliment issuing teen punched, hair pulled

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Police have arrested a woman and charged her with punching a 16 year old stranger and pulling her hair at the Boynton Beach Mall.

18 year old Kira Hill made her first appearance in court Thursday morning.

She's accused of attacking the teen who told police she was victimized for simply complimenting the clothing worn by Hill's friend.

Police say when they tried to get Hill's side of the story she became aggressive and angry and started to raise her voice.

When an officer tried to handcuff hill and arrest her, police say she began swinging her arms and legs and hit the officer several times with a closed hand.

She was eventually arrested and charged with child abuse and resisting arrest with violence and battery.

At her first appearance a judge set bond at $15,000.
