BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Twenty years ago the Caridad Center was formed as a charitable organization to help low income migrant workers get basic necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter.
Since then it has expanded to help others to get the medical and dental care they need.
With funding from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Caridad now helps uninsured and under insured women get mammograms and biopsies to maintain good breast health.
For more information, contact the Susan G. Komen "For the Cure" helpline at 561-514-3020.
