BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Boynton Beach Police are asking the public to help identify a man who broke into a liquor store last month and stole cigarettes.
It happened at K's Liquor about 1 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 4700 block of North Congress Avenue, police said.
Surveillance video shows him spending several minutes prying open the front glass door of the liquor store.
The thief can be seen behind the counter filling two boxes with cartons of cigarettes. As he is leaving the store, he drops several cartons and stops to pick them up, investigators said.
The suspect was wearing a black "Orange County Choppers" hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored, long shorts.
Police ask anyone with information to call Detective Al Martinez at 561-742-6125 or Sgt. Frank Ranzie at 561-742-6132 or Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 800-458-8477.
