Boynton man caught with pants down, police say

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - James Meagher got caught with his pants down.

According to a Boynton Beach police report, Meagher's troubles began when the 50-year-old stumbled to the front door of his apartment in the 1900 Block of Boynton Bay Court Thursday with his pants and underwear down to his ankles.

He tried to talk with a neighbor, but he was so intoxicated, the report says, he could barely stand or speak. Without saying a word to Meagher, the woman immediately went inside and called police

Police found 10 empty beer cans littering the front of Meagher's apartment. In the last week, Meagher has been the subject of six police calls. He was last arrested Sept. 3 for urinating in public.

Meagher, who has been arrested 52 times since 1983, now stands charged with indecent exposure. He remained in the Palm Beach County Jail Friday without bond.
