Missing 9-year-old Boynton Beach girl returns home

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - A  9-year-old girl Boynton Beach girl who went missing Friday evening, has returned home, according to Stephanie Slater, spokeswoman for the Boynton Beach Police Department.

Slater said the child returned home in the 100 block of Northwest 13 th Avenue in Boynton Beach Saturday morning.

Chuncey Rainey’s family reported the child missing around 2 a.m. Saturday, after searching for her since 6 p.m. on Friday.

The child is believed to have left home on her own due to her mother’s failing health, Slater said.
