Boynton Beach police find ailing woman missing since early Sunday morning

BOYNTON BEACH — City police have found a 59-year-old woman who was missing from her home since early Sunday morning.

Gwendolyn A. Lewis, whom police said suffers from dementia, walked away from her home the 200 block of Northeast Sixth Avenue around 12:30 this morning, police said.

Police announced shortly after 6 p.m. that the 5-foot-7, 220-pound Lewis had been located and reunited with her family.
