Boynton Beach bank robber escapes with cash

BOYNTON BEACH — A man robbed a bank on the city's west side this afternoon, sliding a teller a demand note before escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

About 2 p.m., the man walked into TD Bank, at 1601 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., and committed the robbery.

He wore a gray and navy blue short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, sneakers, a camouflage baseball cap and sunglasses. He had a mustache and full beard, police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said.
