BOCA RATON, Fla. - A teenage girl was struck by a car on Friday morning near S.W. 66th Avenue in Sandalfoot Cove in suburban Boca Raton, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The crash happened at about 6:25 a.m.
When fire rescue crews arrived they found a teenage girl laying in the road.
The teen was transported to Delray Medical Center as a trauma alert, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue spokesman Albert Borroto.
The victim's name has not been released.
