BOCA RATON, Fla. - Boca Raton city leaders have confirmed that a police officer whose wife was charged with running a prostitution ring is no longer with the department.
Samuel McCoy, 31, has resigned his position.
He had been under internal affairs investigation to determine whether he was aware of his wife's alleged business.
He has also been investigated by the department for looking at pornography on his city computer and taking pictures of his private parts while on-duty.
Denise McCoy was charged in January with money laundering and prostitution.
