BOCA RATON, Fla. - Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan is headed to Boca Raton for a fundraiser.
His campaign jet landed at Palm Beach International Airport at around 3:40 p.m.
Ryan did not make any public statements at the airport, but did wave to the handful of reporters and photographers who were waiting for him.
The fundraiser is being held at St. Andrew's Country Club, not far from where Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney made his controversial remarks about 47 percent of Americans, "Not taking responsibility for their own lives."
Romney later said his comment didn't come out right and that he cares about 100% of the American people.
Today's fundraiser is a minimum contribution of $2,500, sources say.
Ryan's plane is waiting for him at PBIA. At around 7:30 tonight he will depart for Daytona Beach where he will join Romney for a rally, with country music star John Rich.
