BOCA RATON, Fla. - A Boca Raton family hopes the sport their sister loved will help solve her murder. Cindy Moffett was shot and killed while working at a golf pro shop six years ago.

Moffett's siblings put on the tournament every year to shed light on the murder. Moffett was shot and killed while working at Forest Oaks Golf Club on March 23, 2006. Investigators believe it happened in the course of a robbery. No suspects have ever been named, and leads have gone cold.

"There's so much pain in the family, it never settles or settles well. We'd love for those responsible to be brought in and for justice to be served," says Randy Moffett, Cindy's brother.

The Moffetts hope that reminding the community of Cindy's death could stir someone's memory.

"I know it's a little ways to go back (in time), but people do remember something out of the ordinary they saw or something they heard," says Randy Moffett.

Close to 100 golfers came out to support the family. Money raised from the tournament and a raffle will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach County.
