BOCA RATON, Fla. - Mark Hawkins of Boca Raton has been arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office on charges that he sexually molested girls under the age of twelve.
The arrest report for Hawkins says that he has been under investigation by the Florida Department of Children and Family Services since 2009 following allegations of sexual misconduct with a child.
At the time, Hawkins' investigators could not verify that anything had happened at the home, according to an arrest report.
PBSO deputies say that they received information that Hawkins had a blog on his computer about molesting young girls.
Investigators say that Hawkins had children stay at his home who they allege were molested by him.
Deputies say that one of the victims was four-years-old at the time of the alleged abuse.
Hawkins was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office on two counts of sexual battery to children under the age of 12 as well as a lewd and lascivious molestation with a victim under the age of 12.
