BOCA RATON, Fla. - A group of local college students are camping out in Boca Raton and hoping to make a difference.

Beginning Monday, members of Lynn University's Students for the Poor are eating only one meal a day and spending the following three nights in a makeshift structure and tents on campus.

The group wants to call attention to the desperate living conditions throughout Haiti and other developing countries.

Since 2008, the campus organization has partnered with the international relief and development agency, Food for the Poor.
