BOCA RATON, Fla. - Jack Glus is a longtime neighbor of Scott Edgerton and Sharon Bellingham.
Their home in West Boca Raton lies in a quiet neighborhood just north of West Palmetto Park Road where Glus said they've lived since the 1980s.
Wednesday, their home became the site of a murder-suicide investigation.
"They're nice people," Glus said. "I'm so upset right now. I just can't believe it."
Glus said his children use to babysit Edgerton and Bellingham's children when they were young.
"I play golf with Scott. My oldest son Matthew babysat their kids when they were little. They loved my son. Both of my sons," Glus said.
Glus considered Edgerton and Bellingham, one of his family's closest neighbors.
"We went over for a party a couple months ago," he said. "Everything was fine."
Boca Raton Police haven't said what went wrong or if they found anything inside the home during their investigation.
Neighbors are just sad this all happened.
"I almost cried it started crying in (my house)," Glus said. "I'm shaking like when your adrenaline is moving. I don't know. I don't get this."
Neighbors said Edgerton and Bellingham had two children.
