BOCA RATON, Fla. - A Boca Raton school was under lockdown for a time Tuesday afternoon as police searched forĀ  home burglary suspects.

Pine Crest Prep school at 2700 Saint Andrews Boulevard was placed on a "soft" lockdown from around 2:40 to 3:20 p.m., according to school spokeswoman Toni Marshall.

No one could enter or leave campus during that time.

"It was just a precautionary thing and they chose to do it," said Boca Raton Police Officer Sandra Boonenberg. "There were three [suspects]. Two are in custody and I believe they know who the third one is."
