POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Deputies have released the name of the driver killed after crashing into the back of a daycare van.
The accident happened Friday afternoon in a residential area of Pompano Beach.
According to Dani Moschella with the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Keturah Janel Kelly, 23, was driving at a high rate of speed when she rear-ended a daycare van transporting six children.
Moschella says all six children and the driver of the daycare van were injured. They were transported to local area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.
Kelly was from Boca Raton.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
