A high school student made a special delivery for youngsters in Boca Raton tonight.
At the Wayne Barton Study Center, ten refurbished computers and Internet hot spots were delivered by Pine Crest High School Jr. Jack Koch.
The director of the center, Wayne Barton, says that many of the students are economically disadvantaged and often don't have computers at home.
"In this day and age, you would think everyone has it because we have it. And we can afford it. You'd be surprised to see how many people do not have the availability to sit down to a computer."
Koch says he donated the computers because he is tired of hearing about the digital divide.
"I was looking for ways to reach out to the community and get really involved and help some people out," said Koch.
The students will be allowed to sign the computers out to take home.
