Southbound turnpike lanes back open at mile marker 76 in Boca Raton after crash

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- An accident involving a semi truck and a car caused traffic to back up on Florida's Turnpike in Boca Raton, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes near Glades Road around 1 p.m. One person was taken to Delray Medical Center, according to FHP.

All lanes at mile marker 76 are now open, according to the FHP website.
