Boca Raton police are looking for the driver of a car that struck and critically injured a Delray Beach bicyclist on Sunday night.

The crash happened about 8 p.m. in the intersection of East Yamato Road and Dixie Highway. Bryon Roberto Godoy Perez, 29, was riding his Magna bike when he was hit by a sedan heading west on Yamato, according to police.

Perez was admitted to Delray Medical Center in critical condition.

"The suspect vehicle is described as possibly a dark gray, older model sedan with a black roof and large rectangular tail lights that take up the rear of the vehicle," police wrote in a news release.

The vehicle, last seen heading west on Yamato, may have front end, windshield and side window damage.
