BOCA RATON, Fla. -- A fire late Monday has evicted two people from their home in suburban Boca Raton.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews were called to the 22000 block of Doran Ave. west of U.S. 441 at 10:58 p.m. They found the residents uninjured outside the home and a fire burning in the garage that also had spread to other parts of the house, reports Fire Rescue spokesman Capt. Albert Borroto.
The fire was extinguished. Volunteers from the local Red Cross chapter will provide the two residents with food, clothing and temporary shelter, spokeswoman Lynn Fernandez reported in an overnight email.
