BOCA RATON, Fla. - A car crashed into a UPS store on the 21000 block of Saint Andrews Boulevard in Boca Raton Saturday afternoon, injuring one person.
The car plowed through the storefront's plate-glass-window, stopping short of the back wall of the business, said Sandra Boonenberg, spokeswoman for Boca Raton Police Department.
Only one person was inside the store at the time of the accident around 1:15 p.m.. The person suffered minor cuts and bruises, Boonenberg said. The driver was not hurt. Neither the driver nor the victim have been identified.
The accident is under investigation.
This the third such accident to have occurred in Palm Beach County in the past 60 days.
In early March a woman crashed her vehicle into the Magic Beauty Salon in Delray Beach causing extensive damage. A couple of weeks later a sport utility vehicle crashed into the Kwik Stop convenience store at 606 Forest Hill Boulevard, leaving a sizeable hole in the building.
