BOCA RATON, Fla. - A Boynton Beach man led police on a car chase through two counties Wednesday morning, he's now in jail.

22 year old Reginald Newson was arrested off East Yamato Road near I-95.

Boynton Beach police say Newson led Broward County Sheriff's deputies on a chase from Fort Lauderdale to Boca Raton on the interstate.

While exiting on Yamato, police say Newson lost control of his car and crashed into a fence near a culvert. He is charged with attempting to strangle his girlfriend, fleeing police and possession of cocaine.
