BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Monday marks the fourth anniversary of the brutal murders of Nancy Bochicchio and her 7-year old daughter, Joey Bochicchio.
The mother and daughter were killed outside the Boca Town Center Mall in 2007.
Investigators say after doing some shopping, the two walked out of the mall to their SUV in the parking lot.
That's where police believe the two were car-jacked and forced to drive to a bank to take out money.
At some point they were bound with plastic zip ties and shot to death.
This remains an unsolved case, but investigators at the Boca Raton Police Services Department say they continue to actively review it.
According to the Boca Raton Police Department, detectives pursued 120 leads in 2011, and to date, have looked at nearly 2,000 leads.
BRPD is asking anyone who has any information to come forward and call Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 1-800-458-TIPS or Detective Mynor Cruz at 561-338-1320.
