BOCA RATON, Fla. -- A suburban Boca Raton man died from his injuries overnight after he was allegedly stabbed Monday night.
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 2200th block of Southwest 54th Way, in the Sandalfoot Cove development just after 11:30 p.m., to reports of shots fired. When they arrived, deputies were told that a man had been stabbed and was rushed to West Boca Medical Center by his friends, said Deputy Eric Davis, spokesman for the sheriff’s office.
Anastasio Caceres, whose age has not been released, was then taken to Delray Medical Center were he was pronounced dead just before 3 a.m., Davis said.
The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing, Davis said.
