BOCA RATON, Fla. - A two-story apartment building on the 300 block of West Camino Real in Boca Raton was evacuated Thursday evening after one of the 10 units caught fire, according to Frank Correggio, spokesman for Boca Raton Fire Bureau.
Correggio said the fire was contained to the one unit on the first floor of the building at 303 W. Camino Real and that no one was injured in the fire.
The content of the unit was destroyed by the fire, which is now extinguished, he said.
Local American Red Cross volunteers responded to the fire and are helping to coordinate emergency aid for the affected individuals.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the blaze.
