BOCA RATON, Fla. - David McCullough, the man known as "America's History Teacher", spoke to hundreds of local high school students at Lynn University in Boca Raton Thursday morning.
During his hour long appearance, the historian answered student questions.
"History matters more than any other subject," said McCullough.
He also challenged the students to "get to know your own story...your own family story".
McCullough is a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian award.
